One by one they appear
The winking bodies on the sky
Had nt I asked them where you were?
One pointed north n another south
In a moment they filled the infinite
Had nt I asked so that I can hide?
Blinked they every now n then
Inept n confused
‘Had nt she asked just one place?’
Unbeaten I asked
The ball of gold
As she rose from the sea
N she sent her rays every corner
Permeating all space
Dipped back in wonder ‘had nt I been
the widest invader?’
